A Sunday afternoon ritual in Boulder — Cuban salsa, casino, and a little Afro-Cuban texture. Three back-to-back classes at Avalon Ballroom, taught the way it’s danced on the island.
Three classes,
one afternoon.
Every Sunday at Avalon Ballroom. Pasos Básicos for footwork and turns, Casino Royale for partnership, and a Choreo Team for dancers who want to perform. You can take one, two, or all three — we built the day to flow.

New to
SCF?
Do I need a partner?
No. We rotate partners every few minutes, and plenty of people show up solo. It’s part of what makes the room work.
What should I wear?
Something you can move in. Smooth-soled shoes are ideal but not required — sneakers are fine to start.
Can I drop in for one class?
Yes. Pasos Básicos and Casino Royale each have a $20 drop-in rate, and the monthly rate pays for itself after three visits. Choreo Team is season-based ($100/mo, Apr–Sep) — see the Choreo page for details.
Are the classes in Spanish?
Taught in English with Spanish vocabulary for the movements — you’ll pick it up naturally.
Come dance this Sunday.
No partner, no experience, no pressure. Just show up at Avalon Ballroom.
